Martine Etschmaier is Senior Director of Global Market Access & Value Insights at Magnolia Market Access. Martine has nearly 20 years of experience assisting biopharmaceutical companies both in-house and as a consultant, strategically demonstrating product value and improving patient and market access to their key assets.
Prior to joining Magnolia, Martine worked at several consulting firms, building and growing high-valued accounts in both the US and globally. Her recent focus has been on market access insights that optimize access, reimbursement, and commercial success, and informing key business development decisions through primary market research with payers, patients, and providers. Martine has significant experience moderating interviews and advisory boards, and developing surveys for key stakeholders including KOLs, US payers/HTA experts, patients, and HCPs.
Martine also spent a decade at large biopharmaceutical manufacturers in various roles, including global marketing and HEOR. During that time, Martine led the marketing and market access strategies for multiple product launches, including a multi-regional launch (EU, US, AsiaPac, and LatAm). During this time, she was responsible for US and global marketing and sales strategy, global branding and messaging development, product differentiation (including SPC/PI input), pricing and tender strategy, launch planning and execution, key country specific market research, development of life cycle plans, and competitive intelligence.
Martine holds a Bachelor of Science in biobehavioral health from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Public Health in effectiveness and outcomes research from Columbia University.
